Who We're Looking For

We're building a network of the best detailers in St. Lawrence County and the North Country. If you meet these criteria, we'd love to hear from you:

  • Professional car detailing experience (mobile or shop)
  • Serve customers in Potsdam, Canton, Massena, Plattsburgh, or surrounding North Country towns
  • Maintain quality standards and positive customer reviews
  • Properly insured and licensed (where applicable)
  • Responsive — able to follow up on leads within 24 hours

How It Works for Detailers

North Country Detail Finder is a referral service — not a booking app. We bring you customer inquiries; you run your business as you normally would.

  1. Apply. Submit the form with your business info, service area, and the services you offer.
  2. We review. We check experience, coverage area, insurance, and fit for the network. You'll hear back within about 48 hours.
  3. Onboarding. If approved, we confirm your territory, lead fee, and how you'll receive requests (text, email, or both).
  4. A customer requests a quote. Someone fills out a form on our site (homepage, area pages, or service pages) with their name, phone, city, service, and vehicle details.
  5. We match and send the lead. We assign the request to the detailer whose area and services fit. You receive the customer's contact info and job details — typically within one business day, not instantly.
  6. You follow up. Contact the customer within 24 hours, give your quote, and schedule if they're interested. They pay you directly for the detail — we don't take a cut of your job price unless we agree to something different in writing.
  7. You pay for the lead. For each qualified request we send you, you pay the per-lead fee we agreed on at signup (see below).

Pricing & What You Pay For

Our standard model is pay per qualified lead — not pay-only-when-you-book. That keeps things simple for a small local network: you know the cost up front for each inquiry we send.

  • What counts as a qualified lead: a real quote request in your service area with a working phone number, the service you offer, and details we pass along from the customer form.
  • When you're charged: when we deliver that lead to you — not after the job is completed.
  • If the customer doesn't book: you still pay the lead fee for that inquiry, the same way you'd pay for any marketing that doesn't convert every time. You're paying for the opportunity to quote, not a guaranteed job.
  • Bad or invalid leads: wrong number, outside your area, duplicate request, or spam — contact us and we'll review. We don't charge for leads that clearly don't meet the criteria above.
  • Exact rates: discussed individually when you're approved (based on area, exclusivity, and volume). Exclusive territory options may use a monthly fee instead of — or in addition to — per-lead pricing.

What We Need From You

  • Follow up on every lead we send within 24 hours (sooner is better)
  • Provide honest quotes and professional service — your reputation reflects on the network
  • Tell us if a lead was invalid so we can fix issues or issue a credit when appropriate
  • Keep us updated if your service area, services, or contact info change

Note: Lead volume depends on how many customers use the site. We don't guarantee a set number of leads per week or month, especially while the network is growing.

Clear answers before you apply.

Under our standard pay-per-lead model, you pay when we send you a qualified quote request — not when the job is booked or completed. If someone doesn't move forward after you quote them, you still owe the lead fee for that inquiry. We explain exact rates and any territory options before you join.

We review and assign requests manually, then send you the customer's details by text or email. That usually happens within one business day — not within minutes. Volume varies; some weeks may be quiet while the site grows.

You do. The customer pays you directly for the detail at your normal rates. You pay us separately for the referral lead according to our agreement.

Let us know right away. Leads that are clearly invalid — bad contact info, wrong location, duplicates, or spam — are reviewed and typically not charged. We want the system to be fair for everyone.

We offer exclusive territory arrangements in some areas — one referred detailer per town or zone. That may use a monthly fee instead of per-lead pricing. Mention your preference in the application and we'll discuss what's available.
